We restore not only fountain pens but also dip pens, pencils, inkwells and other writing items.
To repair is to get it back to working order and it is not always critical if it is authentic as original.
Restoration implies a sympathetic attention to make the item as attractive and original as possible.
Restoration is often expensive and it may take a considerable time to fabricate or acquire suitable parts. We do actually do most things ourselves and have extensive workshop equipment and facilities. When necessary we consult other experts and we do have a world wide network of specialists in almost every area of restoration. Currently we are working with a variety of materials and procedures such as plating, turning, grinding, welding and soldering.
